Else Edge

A fallback that runs when no If edges matched. Prevents dead ends and improves UX.

When to use

  • Provide a safe, helpful response if conditions fail.
  • Log/route unexpected states to a human or recovery path.
  • Ask the user for more info and loop back.

How it works

  • Evaluated only after all sibling If edges fail to match.
  • There should be at most one Else per decision block.
